Oliver dies during the Crisis crossover and becomes Spectre, then helps reshape the universe before reuniting with Felicity in the afterlife. The series finale provides an epilogue showing the legacy of Team Arrow and gives Oliver and Felicity a peaceful ending. No major plot threads are left dangling.

Arrow ran for eight seasons and reached a deliberate, conclusive ending rather than being cancelled abruptly. The final season gives Oliver Queen a complete arc and closes out the main characters' stories. It is a satisfying payoff for viewers who invested in the series.
