The fleet’s search for Earth and the central conflict both receive definitive resolutions, alongside major character farewells. The finale’s spiritual and thematic turns don’t work for everyone, but it is not a cliffhanger or an unfinished story.

The series reaches a deliberate conclusion and gives its long journey a strong, memorable payoff. Some choices are divisive, but the ending feels complete.
