The finale gives Rory and Lorelai a meaningful send-off and closes on a fitting note for their relationship, even as it leaves their next steps uncertain.

The series ends with a deliberate, emotionally satisfying finale rather than a cliffhanger. Some character futures remain open, but the main story feels complete.
