The show ran eight seasons and ended on its own terms, but the finale's choice to have Carrie seemingly betray Saul and side with the Russians left many viewers frustrated. It resolves the plot, yet the payoff feels bitter and ambiguous rather than satisfying.

A long-running spy thriller that got a planned, proper ending rather than a cancellation, but the finale divided audiences and is widely seen as not fully rewarding the investment. Early seasons are strong while later ones are uneven.
