The two-part finale 'The Real Folk Blues' resolves the central Spike/Vicious/Julia storyline conclusively, with the crew going their separate ways and Spike settling his past once and for all. The ambiguous 'bang' moment is a deliberate artistic choice, not an unresolved cliffhanger. The story ends exactly where it was always headed.

A complete 26-episode series with a definitive, intentional finale rather than a cancellation. Widely regarded as a landmark anime that fully pays off its blend of episodic bounty hunting and serialized character arcs. The ending is conclusive and satisfying on its own terms.
