The series finale wraps up the final season's mystery, sends each housewife off on her own path, and closes with Mary Alice's narration tying the whole story together. It's a deliberate, emotionally satisfying ending rather than a cliffhanger. The middle seasons sag, but the destination justifies the ride.

The show ran eight full seasons and ended on its own terms with a planned finale, not a cancellation. While the quality dips in later years, the conclusion resolves the central mysteries and gives the main characters proper closure. If you enjoy soapy dramedy with an overarching mystery, the journey pays off.
