The show was designed to end with season four, and the finale resolves the central question of who takes control of Waystar Royco following the GoJo deal. The Roy siblings' arcs conclude definitively, and the ending is widely regarded as one of the best series finales in recent memory.

The series ran four planned seasons and ended on its own terms with a finale that was widely acclaimed by critics and audiences. There are no unresolved cliffhangers or cancellation issues. The story reaches a definitive, satisfying conclusion.
