Season 6B wraps up the Anuk-ite threat and closes with a time-jump epilogue reuniting the pack, giving Scott's journey deliberate closure. The final season is weaker than the show's peak, but the ending itself resolves the major plotlines rather than leaving them hanging. That makes it a satisfying watch overall.

The series ran six seasons to a planned conclusion rather than being cancelled mid-story, and the finale gives the characters and central arcs a proper send-off. Some later seasons are uneven in quality, but the show ultimately delivers closure. For a long-running teen supernatural drama, it earns its ending.
